Wine Tasting

Wine Tastings can be enjoyed all year round at Puddleduck as we are open 7 days from 10am to 5pm although we do close on Good Friday and Christmas Day

Remember our wines are only available from the cellar door so be sure not to miss the chance to try them while in the Richmond/ Coal River Valley area. Click here for directions.

Owners Darren and Jackie pride themselves on giving visitors to Puddleduck an enjoyable and relaxed wine tasting experience in a friendly non threatening environment.

Wine Tastings can be enjoyed standing at the solid Huon Pine or if you can spare the time why not sit down and enjoy a bite to eat while enjoying watching the ducks and other water fowl on the dam.

Puddleduck is a Reverse BYO - that means you can bring your own picnic food, and we supply the beverages (we are fully licensed with beer and soft drinks also available)

• Cheese Platters are available and we have a sit down tasting option which is a taste of our current release wines and a Tasmanian Cheese Platter featuring Wicked Cheeses which is made using the milk from the dairy next door for $15 per person($AUD)
• All of our wines are also available by the glass or bottle so they can be enjoyed on site as long as they are accompanied by food (Cheese platters available or BYO nibbles)
• Our Cellar door caters for small groups (under 25) but has been able to cater for larger groups with the help of Marquees (Please call Jackie for details)
• A BBQ is available on request, or you can BYO caterer!
